Duties of Authors

COPYRIGHT AGREEMENT

(All the Authors have to sign compulsarily)

MANUSCRIPT TITLE:

This form must be duly completed by the author(s) and have to return a copy to the Editor through email (editorjard@cou.ac.bd) immediately, to avoid any delay in the publication. Accepted manuscript will not be published until the completed form has been received.

 

This is an agreement under which the author(s) assign copyright of his/her article to Journal of Agriculture and Rural Development (JARD) for publishing the article in all forms and all media.

  1. The author(s) hereby grant(s) School of Agriculture and Rural Development (SARD) an exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to publish, reproduce, store, distribute, transmit and communicate to the public, the manuscript and any supplemental material in whole or in part, in print and/or digital form, whether or not in combination with the works of others;

 

  1. The author(s) represent(s) and warrant(s) that the manuscript is original and has not been published before in its current or a substantially similar form in another publication either in English or any other language(s), i.e. the publication in the BOUJARD shall be the first publication of the manuscript. For the avoidance of doubt, theses and manuscripts that have been presented at conference do not qualify as “another publication”;

 

  1. The author(s) do not violate any intellectual property rights of any other person or entity and cannot be construed as plagiarizing any other published work, including your own published work;

 

  1. The Manuscript is not under consideration for publication by another Publisher;

 

  1. BOU authority and the editor of the JARD will not take any responsibility for statements made or opinions expressed in the Journal by the author(s).

 

In the occasion of the final acceptance of this manuscript, the authors of the article hereby agree that the SARD holds the copyright on all materials and the right to publish, transmit, sell and distribute them in the journal or other media.
